Unlimited Admission All Summer Long! Busan Museum of Movies Launches “Summer Pass”

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that starting today (18th), the Busan Museum of Movies will offer a “Summer Pass” granting unlimited entry for the summer season.

Located in Donggwang-dong, Jung-gu, the Busan Museum of Movies is Korea’s first film-themed exhibition and experience space.

The museum features various attractions including a themed experience hall that provides a systematic understanding of the history and principles of filmmaking, the immersive media exhibition space “Cine Museum,” and the “Museum Lounge,” a place that offers both relaxation and nostalgia.

The newly launched “Summer Pass” allows visitors to enjoy unlimited admission to both the Busan Museum of Movies and Cine Museum until August 31, simply by paying KRW 1,000 more than the regular combo ticket. It is expected to be especially popular among families who visit frequently during the summer vacation season.

The “Summer Pass” is available only for a limited time during the summer of 2025 and can be purchased at the museum’s box office starting today (18th).
Prices are KRW 16,000 for adults and KRW 13,000 for children and teenagers, and the pass is valid through August 31 from the date of purchase.

The Busan Museum of Movies serves as a leading experiential cultural venue that showcases the history and culture of Busan as a city of cinema through a variety of interactive content, offering programs that can be enjoyed by all generations.

In particular, the “Cine Museum,” which opened on May 1 of this year, is an immersive exhibition space centered on the identity of Busan as a city of cinema. It allows visitors to experience film-related content by era and offers vivid exhibits resembling movie sets, screenings, and interactive content. Through these, visitors can feel as though they have become the protagonist of a film.

In addition, the newly created “Museum Lounge” on the second floor presents nostalgic displays such as VHS tapes, classic movie figures, and retro movie posters. This space is designed to allow visitors to relax and reminisce in comfort.
