Busan Metropolitan Police Agency Holds Training to Resolve Confusion in Local Budget Execution for Autonomous Police System

The Busan Metropolitan City Autonomous Police Committee (Chairperson Kim Cheol-jun) conducted a budget and accounting training session for officers in charge of autonomous police tasks at the Busan Police Training Center on June 23, 2025.

Following the implementation of the autonomous police system, the budgeting of police tasks was shifted from the national government to local authorities, and the committee recognized the need for practical training to resolve confusion among police officers about local budget procedures.

With the aim of improving police officers' understanding of local budgeting and accounting systems, the training was designed to increase the efficiency and transparency of budget execution, thereby providing better public safety services.
