Busan City to Hold “Tax Policy Briefing for Business Support” on June 18

The Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it will host the “Tax Policy Briefing for Business Support” on June 18 at 2:00 p.m., at the International Conference Hall of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

○ The event will be attended by around 100 representatives and executives from SMEs in Busan.

○ The briefing will be co-organized by Busan Metropolitan City, Busan Regional Tax Office, Busan Economic Promotion Agency, and the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The purpose of the session is to provide guidance not only on local and national tax policies, but also on financial support programs available to SMEs, offering practical help to local businesses.

○ The event is designed to foster a favorable business environment and strengthen trust in the tax system.
The session will include:
– Local tax reduction policies for businesses (Busan City)
– Corporate tax credits (Busan Regional Tax Office)
– SME policy funds and support programs (Busan Economic Promotion Agency)

Kim Kyung-tae, Director General for Planning and Coordination of Busan City, stated:
