“2025 Busan One Asia Festival (BOF)” Begins Its Transformation into a Global Music Festival

The Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that the “2025 Busan One Asia Festival (BOF),” Asia’s largest K-content festival, will take place from June 11 to 14.

○ [Big & Band Concert, June 11–13]
Held under the theme “A New Platform for Busan-style K-Content,” the 2025 BOF will feature a K-culture festival that connects K-content, fandom culture, and industry experts. The 3-day concert will be held at BEXCO.

○ [Park Concert, June 14]
At Hwamyeong Ecological Park, a “June picnic” will offer an emotional blend of popular music and Busan’s stunning sunset over the Nakdong River.

This year’s BOF is undergoing a major transformation from a traditional K-POP event to a more diverse “global music festival,” including new music genres, showcases for emerging musicians, and performances by local artists.

○ Unlike previous years which focused mainly on K-POP concerts, the 2025 BOF evolves into a true “K-Culture Music Festival” that integrates high-quality K-content across multiple platforms.

[Big & Band Concert]
The three-day “Big & Band Concert” will be held at BEXCO with different themes and lineups each day:

• ●June 11, 7:00 p.m.: Billie, ATEEZ, NCT WISH, P1Harmony, HATZ TO HATZ

• ●June 12, 6:30 p.m.: Dragon Pony, LUCY, SUHO, QWER, 10-FEET

• ●June 13, 7:00 p.m.: Daesung, Super Junior, WayV, TREASURE, KiKi

○ Notable artists include:
 - ATEEZ, who delivered a powerful performance at Coachella 2024
 - NCT WISH, a rising global K-POP sensation
 - LUCY, a band popular among young audiences
 - 10-FEET, known for their “Slam Dunk” theme song
 - Daesung of BIGBANG, who will engage the audience with an extensive set list

Various side programs will enrich the festival, including:

• ●Fandom platform zones linking K-POP fans and BOF

• ●“BIG Talk” sessions with industry experts on the theme “What Does ‘K’ Mean in K-Content?”

• ●The “B-Market” with food trucks, small local businesses, and sponsor booths

○ Outdoor spaces will feature collaborations with cultural and artistic creators like Kim Ki-ra, Sasha Pollet, and Mauz. Visitors can enjoy reinterpretations of K-POP through graffiti and K-art, along with local vendor stalls for “B-Market” and “B-Food.”
