Busan City Recruiting Participating Companies for the “Joint Procurement Fair for Large Enterprises, Public Institutions, and SMEs (Co-Prosperity Fair)”

Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) announced that it is recruiting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the Joint Procurement Fair for Large Enterprises, Public Institutions, and SMEs, to be held on July 25 at Exhibition Halls 1 and 2B of BEXCO.

This fair, launched in 2018 to support local SMEs in securing public procurement channels, is jointly organized by Busan City and the Busan Regional Office of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The event will be held as a side program of the 2025 Busan Brand Festa (July 25–27).

Overview of 2025 Busan Brand Festa

• ●Purpose: Support for promotion and sales of products by Busan-based SMEs and small business owners

• ●Date/Location: July 25 (Fri) – July 27 (Sun), 2025 / BEXCO Exhibition Halls 1 & 2A

• ●Scale: Approximately 120 participating companies with 150 booths

• ●Contents: Product sales and exhibitions, experiential events, and the Joint Procurement Fair

• ●Hosts/Organizers: Busan Metropolitan City, Co-Prosperity Committee, BEXCO, Korea Culture Content Association, CBS

About the Co-Prosperity Fair
Co-hosted with the Co-Prosperity Committee, this year’s fair marks the largest scale yet, featuring 103 buyers including:

• ●64 large enterprises and affiliates, such as Samsung, SK, LG, and Hyundai

• ●39 public institutions, including relocated public organizations, quasi-governmental agencies, public enterprises, and city-affiliated institutions

Buyers’ procurement staff will conduct 1:1 consultations with SMEs selected through prior applications and matching.
Additional side programs include:

• ●Presentations on large enterprises’ purchasing policies

• ●SME support program counseling booths

Consultation Details

• ●Format: 1:1 consultation sessions (25 minutes consultation + 5 minutes break), with up to 11 sessions per day excluding lunchtime (12:00–13:30)

• ●Topics: Corporate registration, entry procedures, and procurement criteria for large corporations

• ●Matching Schedule:

• ○June 9–18: SME applications

• ○July 2–3: Application review and pre-matching

• ○July 3–4: Announcement of results

• ○July 25: Consultation event held
