Busan Women’s Center to Recruit Students for the 3rd Educational Program of 2025

The Busan Women’s Center (hereinafter “the Center”) announced that it will begin recruiting students for its 3rd educational program of 2025 starting June 9 (Mon).

This program is designed to support citizens’ participation in economic activities such as employment and entrepreneurship, and to enhance professional competencies. It will run for three months from July 11 to September 27.

The Center is accepting over 1,700 students across 91 courses in 9 fields, including crafts, beauty, cooking, coffee, baking, sewing, foreign languages, computers, and senior teaching aids. Course schedules are subject to adjustment based on individual course circumstances.

In particular, the Center plans to offer not only certificate programs beneficial for employment and business startups, as well as practical and general education courses, but also evening and weekend courses tailored to working individuals.

Certificate courses include:

• ●Culinary Technician (Korean and Japanese cuisine)

• ●Cosmetologist (makeup and nail care)

• ●ITQ (Information Technology Qualification) – Excel

• ●Barista Level 2

• ●Florist Technician

Evening classes for working individuals include:

• ●“Healthy Summer Meals”

• ●Foreign languages (English, Japanese, Chinese)

Weekend classes include:

• ●“Saturday Café Baking”

• ●Clothing Making

• ●Stylish Calligraphy

All citizens aged 18 and older interested in the programs are eligible to enroll. Enrollment is divided into three stages: priority registration, general registration, and additional registration. Applications must be submitted via the Center’s website on a first-come, first-served basis (woman.busan.go.kr).

Details of each registration stage are as follows:

• ●Priority Registration:
  For socially disadvantaged groups such as recipients of basic livelihood assistance and families with two or more children.
  From June 9 (Mon), 9:00 a.m. to June 11 (Wed), 6:00 p.m.

• ●General Registration:
  1st Round: From June 23 (Mon), 9:00 a.m. to June 27 (Fri), 6:00 p.m.
  ※ Those who have consecutively enrolled in the same course in the previous term are not eligible for that course this term.
  2nd Round: From June 30 (Mon), 9:00 a.m. to July 8 (Tue), 6:00 p.m.
  ※ If, by 6:00 p.m. on July 8 (Tue), the number of applicants for any course is less than 60% of the capacity, that course will be canceled.

• ●Additional Registration:
  From July 11 (Fri), 9:00 a.m. to July 20 (Sun), 6:00 p.m., after the term begins.
