Busan to Host the 12th Busan International Machinery Fair (BUTECH 2025) Largest Exhibition in Its History

Mayor Park Heong-joon of Busan Metropolitan City announced that the 12th Busan International Machinery Fair (BUTECH 2025) will be held for four days from May 20 (Tue) to May 23 (Fri) at BEXCO Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2.

Co-hosted by Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan Machinery Industry Cooperative, and the Busan-Gyeongnam Die & Mold Industry Cooperative, and organized by the Korea Industrial Marketing Institute, BUTECH has been held biennially in odd-numbered years since 2003. This year marks its 12th edition.

The event will host 536 companies from 31 countries, with 1,845 exhibition booths, making it the largest edition in the fair's history. It will present the latest products in the international machinery industry along with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics.

A two-day export consultation meeting (May 21–22) will be co-hosted with KOTRA, inviting buyers from 13 countries and 36 companies to help Busan-based manufacturers expand exports and develop overseas markets.
To maximize contract potential, buyer information will be shared with participating firms in advance, and scheduled 1:1 matching consultations with domestic buyers will also take place.
