The Oryukdo Skywalk, a glass floor viewing platform situated on the side of a 35-meter coastal cliff, opened in 2013, has been continuously gaining popularity domestically, as well as from abroad.
Visitors
will be thrilled with the view of the waves while looking down through the
transparent floor. The sea stretches out ahead of the skywalk, while the
seasonal changing colors of the sea makes it one of best photo spots in Busan. Japan’s Tsushima Island can be seen on days
with clear skies.
Hiking
the coastal trail from Igidae Park to Oryudo offers hikers a beautiful view of
the sea and things to enjoy, like a former sea women's shelter, filming site of
the movie ‘Haeundae’, coastal suspension bridge, and more.
The
Oryukdo Skywalk is open to the public all year round and is free. The regular
hours are 9:00AM – 6:00PM. From June 1 to September 30, 2017, it will open from
9:00AM – 7:00PM.
How
to get there: Take local bus No. 27, 131 and get off at the last stop at the
back gate of Oryukdo SK View Apartment.
