Busan City opened the Busan Gallery on the 4th floor of the Insa Art Center in Insa-dong, Seoul on July 12. Busan Gallery aims to introduce Busan-based artists and their local artwork, including western paintings, Korean paintings, prints and sculptures to Seoul and its surrounding vicinities.
For this project, Busan City is investing one hundred million won for its budget.
The Busan Fine Arts Association will operate the gallery to promote Busan-based artists and their work to Seoul until the end of the year.
The opening exhibition, “SONG HYE-SOO Art Award Winning Art Works” takes place from July 12 to 17.
