The Haeundae
and Songjeong Beaches are open to the public from June 1 to August 31.
The beaches
offer great summer activities for the whole family, from soothing relaxation to
exciting water sports.
Haeundae
Beach is one of the best beaches in Korea. The beach welcomes beachgoers from
all around the world.
To enjoy
water sports like banana boats, jet skis, canoes and kayaks at Haeundae Beach,
a marine leisure zone is designated from Mipo to PALE DE CZ.
Haeundae
Beach allows night swimming until 9 p.m. from July 25th to August 8th.
There was a successful trial run for night swimming last July at Haeundae
Beach.
The waterslide
will open at the beach in front of the PALE DE CZ building. The cost of riding
the water slide is 3,000 won per ride. To attract more people, the
accessibility has been improved and the riding cost lowered. People can enjoy
thrills whiling sliding down into the sea.
The
Haeundae Beach tourist information center will be remodeled in the shape of a
ship and provide a resting area for beachgoers.
Showers and changing rooms in front of the center will be back as well.
Free changing rooms have also been installed at Haeundae Beach(4) and Songjeong
Beach(2).
Surfing
Academy runs from May 21 to July 30 at Songjeong Beach. The beach is a popular
surfing destination.
