Hwangnyeongsan Mountain Top Lights Have Begun its Operation

Busan City completed the installation of LED night landscape lighting on the top of Hwangnyeongsan Mountain and began its operation on April 24, 2017.
For this night illumination project, the city established the installation plan in June 2016, broke ground in December 2016 and completed it in April 2017. The 100 meter high broadcast transmission tower on Hwangnyeongsan Mountain has been transformed with colorful LED lights for visitors’ night time enjoyment. Previously, it was first installed in 2004, but stopped its operation in 2015 due to worn out equipment.
The 116 highly efficient LED lights will show off 256 multiple colors that are attributed to the different seasons and daytime hours via a light controlled schedule.
