The
City of Busan will be hosting the 15th Digital Video Contest until September 9,
as part of its project to expand visual culture and communication and to
enhance the city’s status as a global hub of visual culture.
The
title of the video contest is “Oh My Busan!” The entries will focus on the
charms and excitement of Busan with an inspired story, unique experience or
your own creative idea.
All
Korean nationals and registered foreign residents in Korea are eligible to
enter the contest individually or in groups of less than four people.
Entries
can be in any genre, including advertisement, song, documentary, animation or
promotional video. Any kind of digital creative video filmed with a video
camera or digital animation can be submitted. Particularly for this year, the
awards will be given away separately for videos less than 30 seconds to
encourage non-professionals to participate in the contest.

A
total of 24 awards will be given away, including a Grand Prize of 3,000,000
won, and a 2,000,000 won Second-Place Prize. The winning entries will be announced
at the BADA TV website at the end of September.
