Busan
City completed three observation decks at Hwangnyeongsan Mountain looking
towards Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Busan City Hall and Seomyeon on November 10,
2016.
The
three Hwangnyeongsan observation decks are located near the KBS Hwangnyeongsan
Mountain transmitting station, right under Bongsudae (Hwangnyeongsan Beacon
Fire Station).
Also,
the Hwangnyeong Mountain View Lounge, opening in August 2015, allows visitors to
enjoy gorgeous views of the city while having coffee, beverages and casual meals
in and outside of the building.
Hwangnyeong
Mountain is a popular site for climbing, hiking and driving, and boasts
spectacular city views, as well as beautiful natural scenery. The mountain
covers a wide range of the city including Nam-gu, Suyeong-gu, Yeonje-gu and
Buanjin-gu. Visitors are able to almost see the entire view of the city from
atop the mountain, including Taejongdae in Yeongdo-gu, Godangbong Peak of
Geumjeongsan Mountain and the Nakdonggang River.
To
promote the Hwangnyeongsan observation facilities as a tourist attraction in
the city, Busan City plans to hold various events including a photo contest
during the cherry blossom and azalea season in the spring.
