The Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo 2016, which has become a key center of diplomacy in the fisheries industry in Asia, will be held at Exhibition Center 1 of BEXCO for 3 days from October 27 (Thu) to October 29 (Sat) on a scale of 920 booths with 450 companies from 30 countries.
Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo, organized by the Busan Metropolitan City, is a promising exhibition certified by Union des Foires Internationales (UFI) and was selected by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for nine years in a row and 3 or 4 ministers or vice ministers from foreign governments and 10 director-level high ranking officials will participate this year and present the best Asian fishery resource diplomatic fair this year.
The K-Seafood Festival will be held in the 3B hall as a concurrent event during the exhibition period. In addition, the academic conference of Fishery Sciences Association of Korea, Busan Fishery policy forum and the academic conference of Korea Maritime Fisheries New Intellectual Conference will be held, bringing approximately 2,000 Fishery personnel to BEXCO from all over the country.
And, various colorful additional events including mackerel and fish cake cooking contests and events to boost the consumption of marine products will be prepared, allowing visitors to see the newest marine-related information and trends at a glance.
