Busan Metropolitan City is hosting the 17th Busan Tourism Photo Contest to promote Busan as a beautiful and dynamic city, worthy of the city’s slogan “Dynamic Busan”. Therefore, I would like to ask for your participation.
Subject Matter
․ Any scenes promoting Busan’s beauty are eligible for submission.
․ Entries may include: scenes of the natural environment, four seasons, traditional culture, architecture, performances, festivals, lifestyle, food, bridges in the city, new tourism trends and all other possible materials related to tourism
* If submitted photos are considered to be too similar to photos entered by previous contest winners (after 2013), you are likely to lose points.
Eligibility and Application
․ The contest is open to anyone. (Foreigners are welcome.)
․ Each photo should be an unmounted print measuring 11 inches by 14 inches without edges. (Negatives, slide films, and digital photos, but not to be stuck on a panel.)
․ Up to 6 entries are allowed per person. (Photos should have been taken after January 2014 and have never been previously submitted to other contests.)
․ The entry fee is KRW 20,000 per person
․ Application period: July 1, 2016 - July 26, 2016 (all submissions must arrive by 6 p.m. on July 26).
․ Submission
1) The printed photos (The backside of each photo should include the name of the work, date/time, location, applicant’s name, home address, postal code and phone number)
2) the JPEG files and
3) the unedited original photo file (digital, negatives/slide) should all be submitted.
- Film photo: printed photos + original unedited negatives/slide
- Digital photo: printed photos + a CD (with 2 folders: one with JPEG files of entries, the other with files of original unedited photo files (1,200 megapixel (4000*3000 pixel))
* Each entry file should have its own file name.
․ All entries should be submitted to the Photo Artist Association of Korea Busan Chapter (PASKBS)

․ Exhibition: September 9-12, 2016 (4 days), at the Busan International Travel Fair in BEXCO
