The 8th Busan Mayor’s Cup International Surfing Championship to be held at Haeundae Beach

To boost Busan as the hub of water sports in Korea and to attract tourists to water sports, the 8th Busan Mayor’s Cup International Surfing Championship will take place at Haeundae beach from June 24 to June 26, 2016.
The Surfing Championships are hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by the Korea Surfing Association (KSA). About 400 surfers from five countries will compete in five criteria, including a professional surfers’ competition, a free competition open for everyone, a longboard competition, a stand-up paddle race and an under-13 juniors’ competition.
Various events including surfing classes, a photo zone and event zone will be available for visitors as well.
