An exclusive hotel for movie makers and cast members opened in Busan.
Busan City renovated the former Haeundae GT Hotel and opened it as the ‘Cinema House Busan’, an exclusive hotel for movie makers and cast members near Haeundae Beach on March 2, 2017.
The hotel has 47 rooms, a film production office, conference rooms for press conferences, meetings, exhibitions and seminars, and a parking lot. 30 rooms will be available for a film's cast members and production staff.
Busan City provided support of about 200 million won for the accommodation of film makers filming in Busan. In addition, to provide convenient and comfort accommodation to them, Busan City purchased a part of the former Haeundae GT Hotel valued at 3.8 billion won and opened it as the Cinema House Busan.
Tourists and Busan residents also can book rooms, if available.
The room rates are from 55,000 won – 80,000 won and various discounted rates will be applied according to the length of stay and the number of guests.
