Busan
City announced that Nakdonggang River Eco City Bus Tour will be in trial
operation from July 8th for a week and start its official operation
on July 15, 2016.
To
invigorate eco tourism in the West Busan area, the City selected Taeyoung Inc.
as the private bus operator of the Nakdonggang River Eco City Bus Tour service
this March, then proceeded to inspect locations to plan for bus routes and to
improve the information facilities before the service begins.
The
bus tour will offer easy access to historical and ecological resources of the
Nakdonggang River, which has suffered from poor public transportation
access.
The
eco bus tour will reveal the hidden charm of attractions in West Busan
including water sports on the Nakdonggang River and various blooming seasonal
flower beds at Hwamyeong and Samnak eco parks.
Nakdong
River Estuary Eco Center is located at Eulsukdo Island, a natural habitat of
migratory birds. The center runs various eco programs throughout the year.
People can enjoy exploring tidal flats at Noeuljeong near Dadaepo.
The
sunset view from Amisan Observatory is breathtaking. There are many more things
you can enjoy while traveling on the eco bus.
The
eco bus will depart from Sasang Metro Station at 40-minute intervals from 9
a.m. to 6 p.m. and travel back to Sasang Metro Station via Gupo Station,
Deokcheon Metro Station, Hwamyeong Eco Park, Samnak Eco Park, Eulsukdo Eco
Park, Dadaepo Beach and Amisan Observatory. This hop-on hop-off bus service is
the perfect way to discover the west Busan area all day long with one ticket.
The fare will be 7,000 won for adults, 5,000 won for students and 3,000 won for children over 48 months to elementary school student. For more detailed information about the tour service, please contact the Taeyoung Bus at (051)714-3799.
