Busan Establishes Friendship City Ties with Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia

The City of Busan established a Friendship City Relationship with Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia on August 3, 2016 at Ulaanbaatar City Hall.

 

Busan Mayor Suh Byung-soo paid a working visit to Ulaanbaatar and met the newly-appointed Prime Minister of Mongolia Jargaltulga Erdenebat and the newly-appointed Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Sundui Batbold after the general election in June 2016, at the Mongolian government building on August 3, 2016. After Busan Mayor Suh congratulated them on their inaugurations, they discussed exchanges and cooperation between the two cities.  

 

Busan Mayor Suh emphasized, mentioning that Ulaanbaatar-Busan direct flights were launched by Air Busan on June 24 with a twice-a-week schedule, that the two cities will become even closer. 

 

To promote Busan’s leading shoe industry, Busan Mayor Suh gifted a pair of Busan-based brand shoes to the mayor of Ulaanbaatar. 

 

The two cities made the agreement on enhancing exchanges in areas including administration, economy, culture, tourism, education, health care and logistics.
