The
5th Swedish Film Festival will be held at the Busan Cinema Center from November
4-10 to introduce Swedish contemporary films and trends to Korean audiences.
The
festival will feature five feature films, three documentary films and ten short
films under the theme "Solidarity and Friendship -- Opening Hearts."
Levan
Akin and Sara Bergmark Elfgren, the Director and the Screenwriter of the
opening film of the Festival “The Circle” and leading actress Bianca Kronlof of
"Underdog" will join the audience for Guest of Voice sessions,
enriching the festival experience. The event is schedule for November 5 after
each movie screening.
Visitors
can take a picture at the dala horse photo zone and try on Swedish costumes at
the Busan Cinema Center during the festival.
The
festival is hosted by the Embassy of Sweden, the Swedish Institute and the Swedish
Film Institute, and organized by the Busan Cinema Center. All screenings are

Online
reservations will open on November 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at www.dureraum.org and on-site ticketing at
the Busan Cinema Center (6th floor) will open on November 4th
at 9:00a.m. on a first-come first-serve basis.
Korean
and English subtitles will be provided for all movie screenings.
