The
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Visit Korea Committee launched
“K-Travel Bus” service on March 25th.
To
mark the 2016–2018 Visit Korea Year, the K-Travel Bus is a two-day, one-night
bus tour program connecting Seoul to local tourist attractions exclusively for
foreign tourists.
The
bus will take foreign visitors to major tourist destinations in Gangwon-do,
Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Daegu, and southeast regions (Busan, Ulsan,
Geyongsangnam-do) as well as this year's tourism picks—Tongyeong, Jecheon and
Muju.
The
bus operates once a week to six destinations. Reservation fees are refunded one
week prior to departure if applications fall below the minimum 4-passenger
requirement.
