2013 Hallyu Cultural Class to make Songpyeon

The Busan Foundation for International Activities will hold its monthly Hallyu Culture Class for foreigners residing in Busan. Participants will learn how to make a traditional Korean food called songpyeon.  All those interested are encouraged to join.

  

○ For whom: Foreigners residing in Busan

○ Date & Time: September 27, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

○ Place: The Munhwa Cooking School (Bujeon-2-dong, Busanjin-gu)

The cooking school is located on the 10^th floor of the Ogi Building, Seomyeon Station exit 2, metro line 1

○ Number of Participants: About 40 people on a first come, first served basis

  

Class contents: Learning how to make five different colors of songpyeon (a type of Korean rice cake eaten during the Chuseok holiday)
