BEXCO opens outdoor space to citizens

An outdoor space of the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) is open to the general public. The center said Tuesday that it would allow citizens to enter the exhibition halls and an outdoor plaza next to a fountain on days when no official exhibitions are scheduled.

The center is going to build an outdoor stage on which youth organizations and various societies of citizens, while visitors are allowed to enter the outdoor space on holidays.

Non-profit groups which are concerned with sports, art, a dilettante life, and youths are eligible to apply for use of the facility. Those interested are asked to log on to a homepage of the BEXCO, http://www.bexco.co.kr/eng/, or place a call at 051-740-7372.
