City to host ICAP, WA, and AOGS conferences
Busan City will host a series of small and large marine conferences during the first half of this year. Starting with the World Aquaculture 2008 from May 20 to 23, the city's venues at Nurimaru APEC House and BEXCO will host the 5th International Conference of Aquapolises, or ICAP, from May 21 to 23 and the 5th Asia Oceania Geosciences Society, or AOGS, from June 16 to 20.

The world's top aqua culturists will take part in the conference. Under the theme "Aquaculture for Human Wellbeing," participants will share information on changes in global aquaculture and new technologies. ■Int'l Conference of Aquapolises
The conference, under the slogan "For a Sustainable Aquapolis," has invited some 140 guests, including mayors of 42 major cities worldwide, experts, and businessmen in water-related fields to discuss city development using water and greenery. Tel: 051-888-2394
