To develop a nature-friendly city and develop the tourism infrastructure around Gwangalli Beach, Millak Waterfront Park, and Suyeong Riverside, Suyeong-gu District is providing the public with free bike rentals. Bikes can be picked up from and returned to Suyeong Public Bike Rental Shop, located at 110-23 Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu (formerly the Cheonggu Mart and currently in Millak Waterfront Park). The rental shop was opened on July 5, 2011. There are currently 100 free bikes (donated by Costco) available for 2 hours a day per person all year round, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. during the summer season (March ? October) and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in winter (November ? February).

This January, a 4.15km long bicycle path was opened from around 49-ho Square in Namcheon-dong to Suyeong Bridge. Citizens and tourists can now safely ride a bike and enjoy the beautiful nature of Suyeong-gu District from the saddle of their bike.

In addition, a bike repair center will be in operation from August as well.
