Busan City and the Photo Artist Society of Korea (Busan Branch) has announced the winning photos of the 13th Busan Tourism Photo Contest.

The 13th Busan Tourism Photo Contest was held from July 1 through August 1 to promote Busan as a beautiful and dynamic city. Nine hundred and thirty-eight photos were submitted to the contest and 91 photos were selected to receive awards. The winning photos are scheduled to be exhibited at the BEXCO during the 15th Busan International Travel Fair, from September 7-10, 2012.

One notable feature of this contest is that a total of 7 foreigners submitted photos to the contest and all of them were accepted as worthy entries. In addition, the by Peter Demarco took the Grand Prize, for the first time ever. This shows that the tourist attractions of Busan have become wonderful subjects for photography among foreign residents and visitors as well. 
   
The awards ceremony will be held at BEXCO on September 8, 2012, at 3pm.
