The 7th Busan International Kid’s Film Festival will be held July 20-24, 2012 at Busan Cinema Center. The opening and closing films for the 7th Busan International Kid's Film Festival have been selected.
The opening film is “The Great Bear” (original title: Gadkiy Utyonok). It is a 73 minute Danish animated feature film which was directed by Garri Bardin. The Great Bear is an animated fantasy inspired by Scandinavian nature and indigenous storytelling.The closing film is “The Ugly Duckling” (original title: Den kæmpestore bjørn), directed by Esben Toft Jacobsen from Russia. It is a 75 minute stop-motion animation on color paper inspired by The Ugly Duckling of Hans Christian Anderson’s story.
Tickets to the 7th Busan International Kid’s Film Festival is on sale from July 9th. All films will be subtitled in English.
