The Busan Nakdong River Project Management Office opened the Samnak Ecological Park Camping Ground along the Nakdong Riverside (in the Samnak Ecological Park) on July 17, 2014.
Work on the 53,200 ㎡ site broke ground in May 2013 and was completed with a total cost of 3.5 billion won. The campsite is home to 62 RV campsites, 50 regular campsites, a lawn square, restrooms, a shower booth and communal kitchens.
The campsite fee is 25,000 won for RV campsites (10m×10m, electricity provided), 15,000 won for regular campsites (5m×8m, no electricity). The campsite will be operated free of charge until the end of August after which point regular campsite fees will apply. The site will be closed from November to February during the bird migration period.
The RV campsites opened to the public on July 17, with the regular campsites opening at a later date. An online reservation system on a first come, first served basis will be available at http://www.nakdongcamping.com (Only in Korean) from 9 a.m. on July 14, 2014.
How to get there: Take Metro Line No. 2 to Sasang Station or to Gwaebeop Renecite Station on the Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit and then walk about 600 meters towards the Samnak Ecological Park on the riverside.
