○ Dates: September 1-October 10, 2013
○ Venues: Major tourist attractions in Busan including Haeundae, Nampo-dong and Seomyeon
○ Eligibility: All visitors with discount coupons
○ Held by participating shopping, lodging, food, culture, tourism, and beauty businesses. About 75 companies and 3,838 retailers are participating in the Grand Sale. Discounts range from 5 to 70 percent on presentation of a discount coupon.
○ Discount coupons: paper coupons on leaflets and online coupons from the Busan Tourism Organization website at http://www.bto.or.kr/eng/04_info/01_notice.php?idx=958&pg_mode=View&bid=eng_gonggi
○ Coupons available from the middle of August at: major Tourist Information Centers in Busan (Gimhae Int’l Airport, International Passenger Ferry Terminal, Busan Station, Haeundae, Nampo-dong, Busan Information & Service Center for Foreigners), major hotels in Busan
Scheduled during the Grand Sale are the Guerrilla Magic Welcome Show at Gimhae International Airport and International Cruise Terminal, and Hot Spot weekend events at Seomyeon and Gwangbok Lotte department stores and Shinsegae department store.
Guides wearing hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) who speak Japanese and Chinese will welcome visitors at Gimhae International Airport and International Passenger Ferry Terminal.
