The New Year Music Performance to celebrate the establishment of the National Busan Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts


The New Year Music Performance will be held to celebrate the establishment of the National Busan Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts that 4 million Busan citizens wish for.


○ Date: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 7:00 pm – 8:20 pm

○ Performers: the NCKTPA artists (90 people), Busan Gugak artists (35 people)

○ Venue : Main Hall, Busan Citizens’ Hall

▷ The First Part ( 30 Gugak artists in Busan)

Dongnae Julpungryu (Yeombul, Taryeong, Gunak), Namdo folk song (Busan Taryeong ), Dance and Sinawi,
Taepyeongso (metal-bell shawm) and Samulnori (Playing four instruments)

▷ The Second Part (90 the NCKTPA artists)

Court Dance (The Combination of Hak• Yeonhwadae • Cheoyongmu), Gyeongpungnyeon, Gyeogi folk song (Song Lyrics, Cheongchunga ( song which refers to the youth ), Yangsando , Taepyeongga ( song in praise of peace ), Miryang arirang), Folk Dance ( Ganggangsullae (Circle Dance))
