There will be a fee to use the Gwangan Grand Bridge from the 1st of July

Car drivers using the Gwangan Grand Bridge will pay a fee starting July 1st.

For a small sized car(under 800CC)'s the charge is 500won, a compact car's charge is 1000won and a heavy vehicle's charge is 1,500won.

Originally Busan Metropolitan City decided a charge of 2,000won about extra-large vehicle was appropriate, such as a container. Later in view of the industry's promotion they decided the same charge as a heavy vehicle car should be applied.

The collection method is by cash or transportation card.

After Busan Metropolitan City opens the Gwangan Grand Bridge this January, they will apply a free charge system until the 31th of May in order to inform drivers how convenient the bridge is and put the new charge system to the test.
