2010 Haeundae Sand Festival to be held from June 4 – 7.

The 2010 Haeundae Sand Festival will be held from June 4th through June 7th at Haeundae Beach.

 

Visitors can enjoy sand sculptures of the Eiffel Tower, the Forbidden City and other famous monuments in a sand sculpture theme park created by domestic and international sand artists alike, and they can also participate in sand sculpture events such as “Challenge! I am also a sand artist”, either as a group, family or couple. In addition, a celebration of the birth of the festival’s mascot, “Hemo”, and a fireworks display from the sea will also take place.  

 

A sand-boarding event and Asian wakeboard championship will showcase, and an exhibition displaying the creation, growth and extinction of sand will be held as well.
