New Zealand Consulate opened in Busan

The New Zealand Consulate opened in Busan, on the 3rd floor of the Wonyang Building, in Amnam-dong, Seo-gu, on April 14, 2011. 

 

The Consulate will manage issues related to cultural exchange, as well as information about tourism, business, studying and immigration in New Zealand, but won’t handle visa issuance.

Richard Mann, the New Zealand Ambassador to the Republic of Korea said, “We expect that the opening of the New Zealand Consulate in Busan will enhance New Zealand’s awareness and help to expand ties with Busan.

 

Dongwon Group Chairman Kim Jae-cheol was appointed as an Honorary Ambassador to New Zealand.
