Gimhae International Airport is boosting its international connections as seven new services have been or are about to be launched expanding links to Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.

China Eastern Airlines launched its regular Busan – Yantai service on April 27, then Jeju Air started a regular service between Busan and Hong Kong on May 2. Through the end of June, Busan - Ho Chi Minh (Asiana Airlines), Busan – Hanoi (Asiana Airlines), Busan – Narita (Air Busan), Busan – Hong Kong (Air Busan/Jeju Air), Busan – Bangkok (Jeju Air), and Busan – Beijing (Hainan Airlines) services will all be launched as well.

This will bring the number of regular international services from Gimhae Int’l Airport to 26, with 287 flights a week.

In addition, four irregular international services to Siem Reap, Changsha, Zhengzhou and Xi'an will be operated from Busan 44 times a week as well.
