Busan City announced that the sales locations for the Korea Pass Busan Tourism Card have now been expanded, to include the 1st floor of the International Terminal in Gimhae International Airport, the 1st floor of International Passenger Ferry Terminal and the 2nd floor of the Lotte Members Center in Busan Station. They are open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. These three locations are located at the main gateway points into the city, so foreign tourists will be able to conveniently purchase the card on arriving here, to help them to enjoy all that Busan has to offer as economically as possible.
To provide tourists with a better experience and added convenience, the Korea Pass Busan Tourism Card was jointly developed by Busan Metropolitan City and the Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) and launched last December. Four types of prepaid tourism card - 50,000 won, 100,000 won, 300,000 won and 500,000 won – can be used to pay for transportation fares with extra payment of 10,000 won as well as a variety of discounts at 369 stores in Busan-based tourism-related businesses and 6,700 nationwide tourist attractions, shopping areas, hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues. In addition, users can get refunds for any unused portions of their cards if they so wish.
The sales location of the Korea Pass Busan card now number 89 different locations including eighty 7-Eleven convenience stores and six Lotte Marts, along with the three new locations.
To celebrate the opening of the sales booth at Gimhae International Airport, the first 100 tourists who purchase the Korea Pass Busan Tourism card on April 9 and April 16 will receive a card with 5,000 won of prepaid points for use on local transportation.
