Currently, six emergency support centers for migrant women are in operation nation-wide, including one location in the Busan Medical Center (B1), in Yeonje-gu, Busan.

The emergency support centers for migrant women have been opened to support women facing problems such as domestic violence, sexual assault, prostitution and similar hardships, which migrant women may face while living in Korea. The centers are also focused on providing medical and legal services to victims.

Five native consultants from China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia and Russia provide a consultation service at the Busan Center.

Women can contact the 24-hour hotline year round for consultation services by phoning 1577-1366 or speak with someone directly at the Busan emergency support center at 508-9227.
