Air Busan, the city's local airline, began a regular scheduled service to Yanji on January 7. This service, the 12th regular international route of Air Busan, is the first service provided by national airlines and will fly every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Passengers who live in the Yeongnam area, especially those living in Busan, can enjoy easier access than ever before to Mt. Baekdusan, a mountain of special spiritual significance, by joining a 'Baekdusan tour'.
