Lunar New Year's Korean Traditional Folk Games to Take Place at Busan Museum from Feb. 19-20.

For the Lunar New Year holidays, Busan Museum will hold various cultural events from February 19 to 20 for visitors to the museum.

 

The cultural events include making an envelope for New Year’s Day (Feb.19 2PM-3PM), a worry doll (Feb.20 10:30AM-11:30AM, 2:30PM-3:30PM) a key chain (Feb. 20 4PM-5PM), and enjoying Korean traditional performances and playing folk games.




Visitors can also take part in playing yut, a Korean shuttlecock game (jegichagi), as well as a top-spinning game outside the museum building. (Feb. 19 11AM-2PM, 3PM-4PM / Feb. 20 11:30AM-1PM, 3:30PM-4PM) Korean traditional performances including dance and music, pansori, Daegeum and Gayageum performances are scheduled to be held on February 20, 2015, from 1PM-2PM. 

 

All programs are run on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations possible.
