27 outstanding local bakeries in Busan selected

Busan City has announced 27 outstanding local bakeries from among 42 entries for their “Certification of Local Outstanding Bakeries Project”. This project aims to support and promote local bakeries in Busan.
The certified local bakeries include:
The designated bakeries will receive a certificate and signboard, and they will be presented at the “Taste of Busan” special promotional booth at the Busan International Food Expo, which will be held at BEXCO from October 10-13. To promote local bakeries, recipes from these bakeries will be published and distributed to the public. The city also plans to support the development of high-quality bakery products.
The certification of outstanding bakeries is valid for two years. To maintain the quality of bakery products, Busan City plans to perform a field survey once a year and reevaluate the bakeries every two years.
A city official said, “We expect that the great flavors and high quality of their master bakers' breads will help revitalize the local economy.”
