Busan Global Center is continuing to support various foreigner community activities in order to spur the growth of foreign communities in Busan. This year, it received a positive response by supporting events hosted by 9 foreign communities including charity events of the Busan International Women's Association, a sporting event by the Mongolian Foreign Students Association, and a basketball event organized by the Philippine community. It offers support for events hosted by foreign communities with regard to culture, the arts and sports. Each community can receive up to 500,000 won, and applications are accepted throughout the year. Those seeking support should visit the Busan Life website (http://www.busanlife.or.kr) to enroll their foreign community.
