BEXCO’s yacht convention business is on its way to smooth sailing. Yacht B, which began operation in April 2012, has seen 400 people board the yacht each month, contributing to the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferencing, exhibitions) business.The “B” in Yacht B stands for Busan, BEXCO, blue, beautiful and business - English words that sum up Busan. Yacht B is 52 feet long, with a passenger capacity of 29 people. It is spacious and comfortable with a catamaran shape. Inside the yacht is a projector for holding conferences, a screen, a small meeting room and more.
Participants can sit at a round table in the meeting room and see presentations on the screen as the yacht sails across the ocean. One can get a view of Dongbaek Island, Marine City, while holding meetings. There are two bedrooms (two beds in each room) for those who want to take a short nap.
Yacht conventions are generally used as part of targeted marketing campaigns for delegations visiting Busan for international events and for decision makers of global companies.
