Busan City has announced the schedule for the Traditional Folk Performances which will be held every Saturday from April 12 until June 28.

 

Busan City and the Organizing Committee for the Busan Culture & Tourism Festival will host events featuring the traditional folk performances, including Dongnae Yaryu (Important Intangible Cultural Asset No.18) and Suyeong Noncheongnori (Local Intangible Cultural Asset No.2 ) for the enjoyment of domestic and international tourists and Busan citizens alike.  

 

Notably, the ‘Traditional Folk Performances in Busan’ program has been designated as a regular cultural program by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for supporting the regional traditional art performance project. This event aims to provide the opportunity to promote the value and enjoyment of traditional Korean culture.
