Busan Sea Festival to offer Marine Sports Experience

Busan City will offer a variety of marine sports events during the Busan Sea Festival, which will be held from August 1 through 9 at beaches across Busan, including Haeundae, Gwangalli, Songdo, Dadaepo and Songjeong beaches.
During the Busan Sea Festival, Busan citizens and tourists will love the chance to try out a variety of marine sports, including cruiser yachting (August 2 – 8, from Yachting Center), motor boating and banana boat rides (August 6 – 8, from Yachting Center and Songdo Beach). It is part of the city’s effort to expand the Busan Sea Festival as the South Coast Tourism Revitalization Project as well as to boost the festive mood across the city.
Free coupons to participate in marine sports events will be distributed to audiences of 14 radio programs from 9 broadcasting companies across the Busan and Gyeongnam region from July 23. Foreigners can request a coupon through the audience message boards of two Busan e-FM radio programs - Morning Wave in Busan and Inside Out Busan, at http://www.befm.or.kr
Some of the events may be cancelled or delayed in the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
