BPA signed a contract with the 1st tenancy at Distripark in Busan New Port

Following the opening of CFS(Container Freight Station) at a logistics district adjacent to North Container Terminal in Busan New Port, the first global logistics company will go operation at the end of this year. 

 

BPA signed a contract with Busan International Distribution Center(BIDC) which was selected as the tenancy at the 1st phase of distripark at Busan New Port and agreed to promote mutual cooperation for vitalization of the brand-new port.

 

President of BPA, June Suk Choo said that current Busan Port has many difficulties to create value adds because of space shortage and asked BIDC to make efforts to attract new cargo and create value adds.

 

CEO of BIDC, Yong Nam Ahn said that BIDC will also contribute to vitalize Busan New Port.

 

Busan International Distribution Center(BIDC) is a global logistics company established by Daewoo Logistics, DAT-JAPAN, and Fukuoka Transportation jointly and plans to utilize the distripark at Busan New Port as Japanese logistics base.

 

Reportedly, BIDC will import wine, furniture and other products from China and  export these products to Japan after conducting assorting and storage at the logistics center in Busan New Port.

 

BPA said Samskip, global logistics company in Iceland, Michelin, tire company in France and other global logistics companies showed interests in the 2nd phase of the distripark at Busan New Port.
