Songjeong Beach lights up at night

The city commissioned engineering services on the lighting project last October to light up the Songjeong Beach and its surroundings lit up at night to boost its image as a tourist zone.
At a total outlay of 2 billion won ($2.1 million), the illumination installation, which started on Dec. 31, was completed in February. The theme of the night lighting at the Songjeong Beach is "The Fragrance of Light A Mixture of Music, Light and the Sea."
Three other areas Songjeong Beach, Gudeokpo and Jukdo Island Park will produce different night images when the illumination project is completed.
Songjeong Beach will be lit amid a mix of music and light, which will be produced from a series of street lamps and light-emitting diode lamps.
