Busan City will launch two new city bus tours - the History and Culture Tour focusing on the Dongnae area of the city, and the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple Tour - from January 10, 2012.

The 4-hour tours will leave from Busan Station, once a day, and cost 10,000 won for adults and 5,000 won for children.

The itineraries of the tours are as follows:

The History and Culture Tour
Busan Station (9:20 a.m.) → Gold Theme Street → Seomyeon → Bokcheon Museum →Geumgang Park → Beomeosa Temple → Busan Station (1:30 p.m.)

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple Tour
Busan Station (2 p.m.) → Gwangalli → Haeundae → Dalmaji Hill → Songjeong → Haedong Yonggungsa Temple → Gwangan Bridge (or Diamond Bridge) → Busan Station (6 p.m.)

The city will also expand the bus fleet on the two most popular tour routes to minimize waiting times and maximize convenience. In line with the growth in demand, two additional buses will be added to the hugely popular Haeundae and Taejongdae routes, trimming waiting times from 40 to 30 minutes. Of all the tour options in Busan, some 85 percent of tourists select these ones. A total of 8 buses will now operate 16 tours per day at 30 minute intervals.

In addition, 42-seater buses will operate on the Eulsukdo Eco Tour and Night Views Tour, replacing the 28-seater buses used till now.
