New Year Celebration Tower lighting up Busan City Fountain Square

“We wish you and your family a very happy Holiday Season and a New Year filled with good fortune.”
Busan City lit the 2012 New Year Celebration Tower at the Fountain Square in front of the City Hall on December 19 at 5:30 p.m.
This 15 meter tall tower in the center of the Square is decorated with about 5,000 light bulbs and a New Year’s message in three languages: “새해 복 많이 받으십시오.” in Korean on the front, “Happy New Year” in English on the left, and '謹賀新年’ in Chinese on the right.
In addition, an LED bulletin board will be installed to greet Busan’s citizens with various New Year’s messages and to promote the vision of the city.
The tower will be illuminated from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. every evening through January 3, 2012, and until 1:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
