Yeongdo-gu District is holding its 5th Yeongdo Hope Light Festival until January 8, 2012.
The winter illuminations will decorate 1.1 kms of the coastal path with colorful lights on the trees, from Baekryeongsa Temple via 85 Square to the Jeollyeong Coastal Walk and will be lit up from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
A district official said, “The Yeongdo Hope Light Festival is a unique light festival in which visitors can enjoy walking along a coastline decorated with beautiful lights.” and added, “The festival is getting more popular year by year.”
To save energy during the winter season, lighting times may be changed without notice.
