Haeundae District now provides free passport photos to foreign spouses who have acquired Korean citizenship.

Offered in conjunction with Kopho Studio, the service is available once to married immigrant females who have become Korean citizens, along with one of their children.

Those who wish to take photographs just need to visit the Kopho Studio (Jung-1-dong, Haeundae-gu District near Hotel Riviera) with their ID card.

Ha So-young has been running Kopho Studio for 17 years, during which time she has helped numerous multicultural families through free family photos and other voluntary activities.

An executive with Haeundae-gu District said, “Through this service we hope that foreign-born wives will feel a greater sense of belonging and friendliness with local society.”
