Four Beaches in Busan Ready to Open from June 1

Haeundae BeachA briefing session on the operation of beaches during the summer was held on May 14 at 3 p.m. at Busan City Hall in order to complete preparations prior to the opening of public beaches on June 1.
The briefing session aimed to establish how to best deliver a safe and pleasant beach experience for beachgoers.
Preparations in the following areas were thoroughly discussed.
△ Safety·transportation·security
△ Improving beach facilities including restrooms, shower booths, footbath areas and more
△ Preventing price gouging on accommodations, food, beach parasol and tube rentals.
Haeundae, Gwangalli, Songdo and Songjeong Beaches will be open to the public from June 1 to September 10. Dadaepo, Ilgwang and Imnang Beaches are scheduled to be open from July 1 to August 31 this year.
Various cultural and art events, which have been taking place to vitalize the beaches in Busan during all four seasons, will be extended through the summer months and promise to be bigger and better than ever.
